Non-needle Treatments:

Some people simply don’t like needles and that is ok. You can still receive a relaxing and effective treatment without them. Modalities like massage, cupping, and acupressure can be used to move fascia, release muscles, and move energy.

The key to a good treatment is not always the modality, but the effectiveness of the assessment in finding the correct spot that needs treatment. My goal is always to work with the patient to find what therapy combination gives you the best result. This may take some time, but it’s always about me adapting to you and not vice versa.

If you are seeking non-needle treatment, please be up front and speak with me either over the phone or at the beginning of the treatment.

Acupressure:

One way for energy to get moved is through stimulation of the acupoints. Needles are not the only way to do this! Acupressure, or using the hands to push and stimulate the acupoints, can be a very effective therapy.

By pushing and holding the acupoints, the fascia gets stimulated, causing subtle changes to the body and releasing good neurochemicals like endorphins and serotonin. This hormonal release along with the body changes can cause the same energy movement relaxation felt during an acupuncture treatment.

If you do not want needles during your treatment, please say so over the phone or before treatment has started!
